What does TL version mean?

  • TL stands for "twist lock".  A TL version of head or handle is compatible with Welch Allyn AND Heine handles or heads.  TL bulbs work with TL heads. 

 

What does AV version mean?

  • AV versions of Heine handles means it is compatible ONLY with Heine heads and Heine otoscope heads are compatible ONLY with Heine AV handles.  AV replacement bulbs are only compatible with AV otoscope heads.
